Diving Board!

Last Friday was Evan and Olivia's last day of swimming lessons. Each class got to jump off the diving board. They were both so excited to jump. Olivia kept trying to cut in line. When we got to the end of the board I asked her if she wanted to jump and she started to turn back. I helped her a little. Her instructor was in the water to catch her. She loved it and kept asking to go again. Evan was also very excited. He walked right to the end of the board and waited to his instructor to say jump. When she did he jumped right on top of her! This is a huge improvement from the start of lessons. He loves to go under water now and do his bobs, circle arms, rocket ship, blow bubbles and float on his back (with help).
Mike had the day off and got to come watch and take pictures. Evan and Liv were very excited to show their swimming skills off to their dad. Mike had fun watching them.

We went swimming on Saturday. Evan and Olivia had a great time. Evan kept jumping in by himself in the shallow part and Olivia loved jumping up and down in the water. Mike did a few flips off the diving board for Evan and Liv. They thought their dad was pretty cool.
