Halloween

This Halloween Olivia wanted to be a "beautiful princess" and Evan wanted to be a cowboy (for the third year in a row). My mom made Olivia's dress and got Evan his cowboy shirt. Evan wore Wranglers. They are the same pair he wore last year but this year they fit like Wranglers should. His backside looked pretty cute :). He also got a pistol with holster at the dollar store. He still wears it every day.

We went to a Halloween party on the Wednesday before and to a trunk-or-treat on Halloween night. They loved getting dressed up both nights. Everyone told Olivia how beautiful she looked and she soaked it all in. Evan was in character the whole night. At the trunk-or-treat they had a chili cook-off. I called my good friend Jill McNiven and got their sweet chili recipe. It got second place. We were not from the ward and we didn't win because we were outsiders. Thanks Harry and Jill!

We went trick-or-treating to my grandparent's house. None of us expected grandma to be dressed up and acting like a witch. It scared us all, especially Evan and Liv. They wouldn't even stand by her for the pictures.
